After a successful 2 years and being instrumental in the set up and running of the business both Graham Storry and Nigel Piercy have officially retired and resigned from the company. They leave knowing that the business is in a strong and healthy position which is testament to their professionalism and dedication. We hope their retirement brings them both enjoyment and look forward to catching up in the near future.
With the departure of Graham and Nigel, Phil Schiaffino will step into the role of Managing Director and Tony Seifas will become Operations Director. Along with their dedicated team they will look to drive BDL forward and continue to establish them as 1st class logistics provider within the industry.
“With mixed emotions my departure from Britannia Dynamic Logistics (BDL) has finally arrived . Sad because I’ve had some great times helping establish a new business during difficult times (Covid, Brexit, fuel costs, driver shortages, to name but a few). Happy because I retire once again leaving a successful, healthy and well managed business behind me.”
“After 64 years in the shipping and forwarding Industry I have decided to drop the anchor and retire. Over the years I have seen many changes, the airfreight Industry in its infancy in the 60’s, the introduction of ULD’s, Igloos and pallets. In Shipping, the change from conventional to containerization and the courier boys with their small parcels and documents, building up a new concept of distribution. I think I have handled just about every commodity you can think of, from heavy dynamometers to Formula one race cars. I would now like to thank all my customers, past and present for all the support they have given me over these past decades, thank you for the trust in allowing me to handle your shipments. This goes to all my suppliers too, as without them, nothing moves. A big thank you to all my overseas network of fellow agents, many have become friends over the years and hopefully, we can keep in touch.
